This is the quick link to the Arizona Region of USA Volleyball's Membership webpage.
It's that time of year again!! Which Open Houses will you attend? What club will you join? What are your goals for the season?
If you're like our family, you're already thinking ahead. But before we can answer these questions, we needed to get our membership!
It's fairly easy and I'm here to help you get this done conveniently.
This is actually the only time-consuming part of the process.
The parent or guardian of the junior athlete must have an established "Household Account" in SportsEngine.
I highly encourage you to read through the step-by-step guide on our Membership page here. But, I can help you with some quick tips. NOTE: Pre-registration for the 2023 season opens up on Aug 2nd but does not become effective until Sept 1st.
FOR NEWCOMER FAMILIES AND FIRST TIME SPORTSENGINE USERS:
NOTE: If your junior player is currently 18-years-old, the athlete would need to create their own SportsEngine account. Any player 18-years and older must have their own account and complete the SafeSport training.
*Encourage your 18-year-old athlete to make time to take the online SafeSport training on a day where they are not in a hurry to move on to other plans. It requires a space where they can listen and focus clearly.
FOR RETURNING FAMILIES AND ATHLETES WITH EXISTING SPORTSENGINE ACCOUNTS
Again, visit our Membership page to get all the additional tips and tricks to walk you through this process!
Select the highest level of membership for the athlete registering.
For example if a junior player is also going be a Junior Coach or Junior Official, select the higher juniors membership.
►Understand that in order to be placed on a roster, ALL the requirements of that membership type must be completed first.
We can't stress this enough. Know what you are agreeing to.
Please thoroughly read through the waivers before you agree to them and submit the membership.
When you commit, you commit. Commitment to a club is for an ENTIRE season.
I encourage you to read an important notice from the Arizona Region Commissioner, Harold Cranswick.
You'll be asked for your membership information several times during Open Houses and Tryouts. I recommend making a separate file or folder for these types of emails and documents so they can be easily found and accessed when you need them.
BEST WISHES IN SEASON TRYOUTS!
