THE 2024 JUNIOR BEACH PROGRAM RUNS MAY 14TH - JULY 21ST.

Download and mail in the registration form with a $20 check OR register for Junior Beach Here. Make sure to log into your SportsEngine account when you are registering.

Tourneys are held at Victory Lane Sports Park, 22603 N. 43rd Avenue, Glendale, Arizona 85310
The complex is located south of Pinnacle Peak Road on 43rd Avenue behind Wet 'n Wild Water Park. It's $3 to enter the park. You may only bring water into the park.
"Please enter the park at your own risk ... Victory Lane is not responsible for gate entry refunds due to weather related delays or cancellations. Visitors wishing to leave and return in the same night must obtain a hand stamp at the gate."
Tournament registration starts at 5pm on site, play starts at 6pm. If you arrive later than 6pm, you will only be able to participate if teams are needed to fill pools.

How It Works -

Teams are made up of two boys or two girls.
Athletes sign up for the program as individuals and enter tournaments as pairs. Points will be given to the individuals based on their team's finish.
Teams officiate their own matches. Officiating clinics will be conducted at the beginning of each tournament. Disputes will be settled by the Tournament Director - not parents or coaches.
Parents and coaches are not allowed on the playing surface - one warning only will be given and then the player(s) associated with the offending parent or coach will be removed from the event.

2024 SUMMER JUNIOR BOYS & GIRLS BEACH PROGRAM AND INFO

AZ Region Junior Beach Program Overview

Registration is done by sending the Registration form and $20 to the AZ Region office or by registering online at this link. https://azregionvolleyball.sportngin.com/register/form/852099228 You must have a current USAV/AZ Region membership to register.

Players do not register for the program as teams. Boys or girls sign up for individual tournaments with a partner. Individuals will be assigned points based on their team's finish.

How it Works - teams are made up of two boys or two girls and are guaranteed a minimum of 3 matches - depending on the number of teams entered in the tournament. If an age division is represented by three or fewer teams, those teams may ask to play up an age division to ensure more matches. The teams moving up can still earn medals for their appropriate age group.

Teams officiate their own matches. Officiating clinics will be conducted at the beginning of each tournament. If there is a dispute, it will be settled by the Tournament Director, NOT parents or coaches.

Tournament Info - registration for the tournament will begin at 5 pm on site (1 hour before the scheduled start time). If you arrive later than 6 pm, you will only be able to play if teams are needed to fill pools. If you are going to be late, please call the tournament director to be put into the draw.

Parents and coaches are NOT PERMITTED on the playing surface at any time. One warning will be given, if not heeded, the player(s) associated with the parent or coach will be forfeited from the tournament and could face expulsion from the program.

Cost - everyone must be a registered member of USAV/AZ Region to participate. Everyone must also register for the Jr Beach Program. Program fee is $20. The entry for each tournament is $20/team - paid onsite. If the athlete participated in club volleyball our USAV Outdoor programming this season, their membership will cover them playing in the Jr Beach Program. If the athlete did not participate with a club, a Summer Membership ($20) can be purchased to cover the membership requirement.

Teams will register by their OLDEST child's age; 12’s, 14’s, 16’s or 18’s.

*NOTE: Our Family Tournaments will use reverse coed rules. Only 2 Parents and 2 junior athletes can be on the court. Junior subs are allowed only. This is a FUN night and all participants are to be treated with respect. This is a chance to play with your older children, help teach your younger children, and enjoy a true family experience on the sand courts.

April 28th will be the 12's boys and girls in the morning pool, and the 16's boys and girls in the p.m. pool.
May 5th will be the 14's girls and boys in the morning pool, while the 18's boys and girls will be in the p.m. pool.

The USA Volleyball Beach Tour is a joint effort between USA Volleyball and the 40 USAV regions for junior volleyball players.

We, the Arizona Region of USA Volleyball held a national qualifier in December 2023 for boys and girls divisions between 12 and 18 years. We'll hold a 2nd qualifier in April & May 2024.

Qualifying events distribute bids to the USA Volleyball Beach National Championship.

Every summer, the USA Volleyball Beach Tour culminates with the USA Volleyball Beach National Championship. This tournament provides young beach athletes an opportunity to compete for a national championship. Four divisions currently compete at the national championship: 12U, 14U, 16U and 18U.

2024 Championship information will be played in Fort Lauderdale, Florida July 12-17, 2024.

All competitors and coaches at a USA Volleyball Beach Tour tournament must be USA Volleyball members.
